Bonnie Masi has a B.A. in Music from Hofstra University receiving her training from noted piano pedagogue and chamber player Blanche Abram.
After performing as a singer-pianist at venues throughout Long Island and Manhattan in her early career she began teaching. For over twenty-five years, she has been bringing out the best in all her students. She encourages them to play for people at school and at church and many participate in NYSSMA with outstanding results. She has held yearly recitals for many years and was an accompanist at Waldorf School in Garden City, New York from 1995-2000.
Presently, she continues to teach piano at her studio in Greenlawn, N.Y. She also composes music in a range of styles: popular, country, Christian and contemporary classical. To hear samples of Bonnie's music see below.
It is because of her experience as a performer and composer, that she offers her piano students a bit more well-rounded musicianship than the average piano teacher.
Now accepting students ages 5-17 years.
